The D220x300 S3 Navigator® horizontal directional drill from Vermeer conquers every task and supports you at every jobsite, whether you’re working in tough rural terrain or in a congested urban setting. The self-contained D220x300 S3 has a Tier 4 Final engine and a thrust/pullback rating of 242,100 lb (1076.9 kN), offering contractors the features to maximize productivity. The D220x300 S3 also features a roomy cab, and an operator’s station with the dual joysticks found throughout the Navigator lineup, that helps ease training as operators move from drill to drill. Additionally, the drill comes with an optional mud pump.

• The D220x300 S3 creates a small footprint, making the drill suited to tighter jobsites and allowing operators to move the drill in and out of jobsites quickly and easily.
• A pinnable, open-top vise enables passage of larger tooling and creates increased visibility for maintenance work.
• A sliding vise helps clamp the rod connection at different positions, allowing operators to utilize the vise for maximum efficiency when reaming or pulling product.
• The drill can stage five rods at a time, minimizing jobsite time spent loading rod.
